Substantially Undervalued

GNLK announced 6/4/2003 that the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office formally published the second of GeneLink's patent applications relating to methods of assessing oxidative stress for skin health by analyzing genetic polymorphisms.

GNLK, with this application & its previous patent application, is at least two years ahead in the science of its proprietary genetic profile assessment technology for skin care applications.

That makes this situation substantially undervalued in my opinion. It closed at $0.52 last evening (6/10/2003). Assuming it is successful in achieving the next stage of its planned evolution, I believe it has the potential to make a quantum jump -- I would not be surprised to see a ten-fold move when that happens -- more on that below.

The Patent Application Milestone

This event is a milestone because when the Patent Office publishes a patent application, it means that they are involved in their investigation -- that's a very good sign. In addition, assuming the patent is issued, the company applying for the patent has provisional patent rights beginning with the date the Patent Office publishes that application. GNLK's patent application can be reviewed at:

GeneLink's Proprietary Science

GeneLink's proprietary test for the assessment of oxidative stress genes is used to genetically predict an individual's risk for skin aging. It has a significant application in the skin care industry. The use of antioxidant genetic information is a remarkable tool to combat skin aging as it can help individuals improve their skin condition & achieve younger looking skin.

GeneLink's genetic assessments for customized skin care & vitamins were featured on ABC's "The View" on 5/5/2003. A summary of the show's segment can reviewed at:

GeneLink's Licensing Program

GeneLink is licensing its proprietary assessments to companies that manufacture or market to the $100 Billion plus personal care, nutritional supplement, & skin care industries. These profile assessments are tools to help companies create & deliver more effective products B- personalized wellness & "quality of life" products tailored to their customer's individual needs -B based on the science of genetics. Consumers will no longer be forced to guess what nutritional supplements or skin care products are best for their specific needs.

For the first time, simply by swabbing the inside of the mouth with GeneLink's patented DNA Collection Kit(R), consumers can now enjoy the benefits of a tailored nutritional or skin care regimen designed to their individual needs.

That Next Stage of GNLK's Planned Evolution

GNLK has a real head start in its science. It has already licensed smaller situations that are beginning to contribute revenue -- a good start. Its next stage will begin when it licenses a major partner -- one that controls a large market share in the skin care industry.

I recently noted that another company with a skin care genetic approach that in my opinion is two years behind GNLK in its science, sold a piece of its company to a consumer marketing organization for $7 million cash plus other benefits. When that occurred, that company's share price jumped from where GNLK is now to well over $2 -- where I believe GNLK will be when it finds its major partner. Incidentally, I believe there is adequate room for several players because of the huge market potential in this industry.

GNLK is actively pursuing an association with such major partner candidates, so I suggest you watch this situation closely. If you do not have the time to do that type of close watching, I suggest that you consider taking a modest position while the price is near its present level. I also suggest that you buy for the long term, because in my opinion, GNLK's next stage has an excellent chance of coming to fruition.
I like this situation so much that I invited GNLK to come aboard as a participant here at WallStreetCorner -- management accepted my invitation, so we will be preparing a profile on this situation in the near future.
