GeneLink BioSciences, Inc. - COMMENTS MADE IN WALL STREET JOURNAL-EUROPE, CONFIRM LARRY OAKLEY'S STRONG OPINION ON GNLK
June 24, 2002

Margate, NJ-(BUSINESS WIRE) - June 24, 2002 - GeneLink BioSciences, Inc.(OTCBB:GNLK) reports today that GeneLink and a number of its competitors in the do-it-yourself DNA Collection Kit business have received some significant comments in a Wall Street Journal article that appeared Friday, June 21, 2002 in the Wall Street Journal-European edition. Larry Oakley, Editor of the Small-CapTrader.com financial web site, and WallStreetCorner.com, has reviewed the article and posted his comments on the Small-CapTrader.com web site on June 22, 2002. The following is an extract of most of his comments referring to the WSJ article.

"GeneLink's DNA Kit Reviewed as Part of Article in Wall Street Journal-Europe A 6/21/2002 article titled "Growing Number of Firms Offer Home DNA Testing" in the WSJ-Europe Edition includes interesting findings by author Helen Pearson. A 42-year-old London lawyer ordered a do-it-yourself home DNA test after reading about DNA kits on the Web. When he discovered he had a serious risk of getting cancer, he began regular exercise & daily portions of broccoli. He "did not understand why the tests caused so much fuss & says he is eager to learn everything his genes can tell him." Further, "the results of the test encouraged him to go on a serious high fiber diet & lose more than 45 kilograms." He is quoted in the concluding statement, "I can't understand why anyone wouldn't want to know." Several companies offering DNA test kits were interviewed by the author who found varying degrees of success along with some controversy over the use of DNA by individuals.

My take on the information in this lengthy article: GeneLink is definitely on the right track with its DNA kit & analysis technology. It is focusing completely on personal care products. It totally avoided medical diseases and remained focused on personal care matters and products for this area.

My opinion is that GNLK has the most complete & effective system for delivering genetically designed personal care products. Equally important is the fact that management knows how to sell these systems to the public in the most efficient manner -- via direct marketing companies, cosmetic companies, and companies that sell nutritional and other products directly through doctors.

Management recognized early in the game that this product would be difficult to sell over the counter in drug stores & other outlets without strong sales support. They wisely selected direct marketing companies, whose sales people sit in your kitchen or living room explaining the merits of their company's products. These multilevel companies will be using licensed GeneLink technology for which GeneLink will receive a royalty on every sale. Cosmetic companies have also been targeted because they offer strong sales support for their products. Medical firms distributing products directly through doctors or with their recommendations is also another area pursued by GeneLink for distribution. GeneLink is definitely going to be first to market with the most impact because of this strategy".

About GeneLink BioSciences, Inc. GNLK is positioned to become a leading provider of genetic profiling technologies. It developed a proprietary method for "genetic profiling" (patents pending) and will begin licensing this breakthrough technology to companies that market or manufacture products for the $100 billion plus nutraceutical, skin care, wellness and weight-loss industries. GNLK has FDA clearance and patent issued for its non-invasive DNA Collection Kit. Its DNA bank is located at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, a 105 year old medical facility that guarantees the DNA storage.
